Customers could experience some discoloration of the water. However, the water will continue to be safe to drink. Customers should check for discoloration before doing laundry. Despite the inconvenience of the discolored water, it is necessary to perform the flush to remove any sediment that might have settled in the water mains and to insure that the hydrants remain in good working condition.
